The median home sales price for Manhattan Beach homes was $2,680,000 for the month of October 2018. While the median sales price for Manhattan Beach homes steadily rising, there was a  sharp rise in other sales metrics. Manhattan Beach homes for sale have seen an average increase of $100 per square foot since October 2017 (avg $1,418/sqft). This has translated into massive increases in average rent for Manhattan Beach homes, which is currently hovering around the $7,000/month figure. Manhattan Beach home values increased 3.4% over the past year (September 2017).  September 2018 median list price per square foot in Manhattan Beach is $1,155, nearly 3x the average of Los-Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim metropolitan of $431/sqft. The current media nlist price sits at $2,724,000 while the median sales price closed was $2,284,400.
