SALE OF HOMES RAISES THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR LOCAL YOUTH
Manhattan Beach, CA Youth athletic programs are suffering the brunt of the new economy and budget adjustments. More and more in school and after school programs are being pulled out of our schools. These groups and programs shape our children for the rest of their lives. Not only do they teach valuable lessons like teamwork, leadership and self-confidence; they also help condition our children to avoid obesity and other childhood diseases that are on the rise due to the suspension of programs that encourage physical activity.
SportStar Relocation is a company based right here in Manhattan Beach, and partnered with The Ed Kaminsky Real Estate Team of Shorewood Realtors, they have been assisting professional athletes nationwide for over twenty-four years. SportStar Relocation believes that taking care of our local youth athletes is equally important.
SportStar Relocation, in partnership with The Ed Kaminsky Real Estate Team, is pleased to announce the launch of the SportStar Relocation Foundation Program, which has been created to significantly support youth and charity programs nationwide. On a local level, SportStar Relocation has teamed up with Manhattan Beach Youth Athletics. The goal: to help raise thousands of dollars in 2011 to help continue the growth and stabilization of youth athletics in Manhattan Beach. This program is designed to allow the Ed Kaminsky real estate team contribute up to $5,000.00 from the proceeds generated when a home is purchased or sold through them. (Certain conditions apply.)
Throughout 2011, new clients of The Ed Kaminsky Real Estate Team, when listing their home for sale or buying a home, can elect to have Ed donate up to $5,000.00 to the Manhattan Beach Youth Athletics program. The contribution will come directly from commissions earned in the transaction. No funds are required by the homeowner or buyer, however anyone involved in the transaction may volunteer additional funds at their choosing. The donation will be made on behalf of SportStar Relocation’s Foundation Program, and will directly benefit Manhattan Beach Youth Athletics.
Clay Claudino, a Manhattan Beach resident and parent who helps raise funds for the MBYA is pleased that the MBYA is to be the first to benefit from SportStar's new program. “In this economy, raising funds for these programs is an uphill battle. Thinking outside of the box is necessary in order to continue financial support of these important programs. We are excited to see how this program can help the kids continue to participate in sports now, and hopefully for years to come.”
